Development of High-Temperature Stirring – Drying Equipment
The jacket at the side of main body of [High-Temperature Stirring – Drying Equipment] which continuously performs the removal of trace moisture from high heat resistance raw material is able to be heated with heat-transfer oil and shaft with overheated steam up to 250◦C, respectively.
Since powder agitation paddle of 11 sets is able to change angle for every 45 degree, residence time and mixing degree are able to be adjusted by changing paddle feed and return depending on the particle size/ aspect of powder.
This is the equipment developed corresponding to customer’s requirement to remove trace moisture in raw material continuously.
Not only drying but it is also possible to utilize as powder continuous mixing equipment by adjusting the number of revolution and paddle angle.
Also, continuous drying of polluted sludge with much moisture is possible by changing operation conditions.
Expected Applications/ Effects
The principle of equipment is following to the fundament of powder drying but continuous trace moisture removal is capable at a low price.
In addition to the recycle of mineral resource and preprocessing of low-quality raw material improvement, volume is reduced by removing moisture of waste before incineration to increase energy efficiency, etc., which leads to the expansion of application range.
An experimental facility has been installed at HIMEJI Technology Center.
A small number of sample preparations are able to be performed in addition to the collection of basic data required for real equipment design before quotation.
Experiment is capable not only as drying equipment but also as mixing equipment.
